I’m excited to be starting a new full-time role as the Stewardship Associate for two land trusts in western Connecticut. In this position, I’ll be responsible for managing the forests and natural resources of the preserves, as well as maintaining and improving their trail systems for public use. I’m especially looking forward to incorporating more active forest management into these properties, with a focus on enhancing bird habitat.
