Sara Schneidman ’24 here! I’m currently finishing out my sophomore year at Hamilton and looking forward to spending a summer on Cape Cod caring for injured, orphaned, and sick wildlife. The Cape Wildlife Center in Barnstable, MA treats hundreds of patients in a given season, including seabirds, reptiles, sharks, and many varieties of land mammals.
I’m looking forward to not only getting some hands on experience caring for wildlife, but also observing patterns in threats that these animals are facing and what the public can do to keep them safe.
