Quincy D. Newell is an Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Hamilton College. She is a specialist in the religious history of the American West, and her work focuses primarily on religious and racial minorities in the nineteenth-century trans-Mississippi West. She’s the lucky duck who gets to teach this class.
2018 Class
Michael Cantarella is a member of the Hamilton College Class of 2020, and is an Environmental Studies major with a focus on the natural sciences. Michael is a member of the Hamilton College Football team and the Psi Upsilon fraternity.
Quinlan Crowley is a member of the Hamilton College Class of 2022, and is currently undeclared as a major. Quinlan is a member of the Varsity Men’s Lacrosse team and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Donald Holley is a member of the Hamilton College Class of 2020, and is a Computer Science major with an interest in software engineering. Donald is a member of the Tau chapter of the fraternity Delta Kappa Epsilon. He plans to work in the software engineering field.
Aidan Leahey is a member of the Hamilton College Class of 2022, and is currently undeclared as her major. Aidan is a part of the Hamilton Women’s Soccer team and is a member of the Strong Girls club.
Liam O’Connor graduated Amherst Regional High School in 2017. He is now studying computer science and other liberal arts based subjects at Hamilton College. Liam is currently a sophomore in the class of 2021.
Andrew Schultheiss is a member of the Hamilton College Class of 2021 and is pursuing a major in Psychology and a minor in Jurisprudence, law and justice studies. Andrew is a member of Minds for Change and plays for Hamilton’s Club Soccer Team.
After Hamilton, Andrew plans to attend graduate school and earn a Ph.D in Psychology.
Tucker Ward is a member of the Hamilton College Class of 2020. He is majoring in Computer Science. On campus he works as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant as well as certain student publications. After Hamilton, he plans on pursuing a career in software development.
2016 Class
Michael Grassey is a member of the Hamilton College Class of 2019, and is a Public Policy major with an interest in Economics. Michael is a member of the Finance club and plays for the Hamilton College basketball team. He plans to attend business school shortly after graduating from Hamilton.
Kate Houghtaling is a part of the Hamilton College Class of 2019, pursuing a degree in Mathematics. Kate is the President and Lead Contributor to the Hamilton Conspiracy Theorists organization, and an intern in the Office of Alumni Relations where she specializes in constructing Reunions Weekend every June. Post-Hamilton, Kate plans to move abroad to work with colleges and universities looking to enhance their alumni programs and participation.
Catherine Mann is a member of the Hamilton College Class of 2019 and is a History major with a Religious Studies minor. Catherine is a member of Hamilton’s Debate Team and the Running Club. Over several summers, Catherine has participated in women’s education surveys in Malawi and legal research at a Washington D.C. law firm. After Hamilton, Catherine plans attend law school and achieve a J.D.
Ryan Wall is a member of the Hamilton College Class of 2020, and is currently undeclared as a major. Ryan is president of Hamilton’s Men’s Rugby Team and is also part of the Hamilton Curling Team.
Harrison Wetzler is a member of the Hamilton College Class of 2017, and is a Mathematics and Economics double major. Harrison is the president of Hamilton Hunger Games and an active member in Hamilton Fine Dining Society and Hamilton Quiz Bowl. He plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science after graduation.
2015 Class
Zach Batson is a member of the Hamilton College class of 2016. He is a History and English double major. On campus, he is a member of the Red Weather editorial staff, web editor and staff photographer for The Spectator, a staff photographer for The Continental Magazine, and a technical theatre student employee.
Kate Bushell is a member of the Hamilton College class of 2017, pursuing a Major in Cinema and Media Studies and minors in both Communications and Religious Studies. She is a Hamilton College Digital Media Tutor specializing in video project development and serves as the website design committee leader for The Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Kate plays varsity basketball, is the student leader of Hamilton’s Newman Council, and is a member of the New York Film and Television Student Alliance.
Enrico Araceli Gonzalez is a member of the Hamilton College class of 2016, pursuing a major in Geology. On campus, he serves as the Vice President of Member Education of the Hamilton Chapter of international Delta Upsilon Fraternity and a member of the Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field teams as a sprinter and pole vaulter. He looks to become an environmental technician and a semi-professional fisherman in Tampa, Florida after he graduates.
Sam Matlick is a member of the class of 2017, and is an Environmental Studies major, though he is primarily focused on business which he plans to pursue. Around campus, he is a squash player, a member of the Hamilton Environmental Action Group, and involved in entrepreneurship outlets such as the Levitt Center for Social Innovation, and the pitch and business plan competition circuit through Hamilton College and Statewide. Sam is founder and owner of SellYourTech LLC and SellYourTech.com (now powered by Sunnking Electronics), as well as Founder and Chairman of the Board of his charity, The Sandee K. Foundation.
Lillia McEnaney is a member of the Hamilton Class of 2017 and is an Archaeology and Religious Studies double major. On campus, she is a Research Assistant for the Religious Studies Department, a Contributing Photographer and Content Editor of Focus Art Publication, a Photographer for The Continental Magazine, Treasurer for the January Admit Program, and a Peer Advocate for victims of sexual assault. Lillia also works remotely as an Intern for the Council for Museum Anthropology and for the Institute for American Indian Studies, and is the Web Designer & Webmaster for Art/Place Gallery.
Anna O’Keefe is a member of the Hamilton College class of 2018. She is an American Studies major and Anthropology minor. On campus she is treasurer of Special K a cappella, an Adirondack Adventure Orientation leader and a Peer Advocate for victims of sexual assault.
Kate Wall is a member of the Hamilton College class of 2016, pursuing a major in Anthropology and minors in English and Religious Studies. On campus, she is a member of the art editorial board of Hamilton College’s Literary and Arts Journal, Red Weather, a member of S.A.V.E.S., and a Peer Advocate for survivors of sexual assault.
