I just successfully defended my Master&#8217;s research in Ecology and Environmental Science at the University of Maine, in which I conducted research on small mammal personality and its ecological implications. After a trip to Italy this summer for small mammal trapping in the Alps and presenting my research at the European\u00a0Congress of Conservation Biology in Bologna, I will begin a PhD position staying here at UMaine studying the impacts of PFAS in game species in Maine, including moose, deer, turkeys, and ducks. As a senior at Hamilton in Andrea&#8217;s lab, I quantified PFAS in Oneida County streams, so I am looking forward to continuing ecotoxicology research with this new project!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m Brigit and I graduated from Hamilton in 2021.
