I graduated from Hamilton in 2016 and directly went to a PhD program in Fall 2016. I am at the University of Notre Dame in the Biological Sciences program – I work with Dr. Mary Ann McDowell on a drug discovery project for a parasitic disease called Leishmaniasis. Hopefully at the end of the summer I will pass my final qualifying exam and officially become a PhD candidate! Thanks to Andrea, I was awarded the Elihu Root Fellowship and the Glass Fellowship which really helped in my first years of graduate school!
