Erin Bryant: Neuroscience Research at The Scripps Research Institute

In the summer of my freshman year, I began working with Professor Townsend on her crow project. In my senior year, I had the privilege to take her Animal Disease and Behavior Seminar, which was one of my favorite classes at Hamilton. Now, I am embarking on a new journey as a research assistant at The Scripps Research Institute, where I will be working in a lab that aims to understand long-term memory storage. This research will be conducted in hopes of discovering novel therapies for Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
