While the United States is ostensibly built on equality, men have held governmental positions since the founding of our nation.  America has always faced is an inaccurate representation of our country’s make-up in the federal government. In my video, follow me on my journey to explore how the last twenty years have shaped not only my own aspirations, but those of many young girls in America.  While women have come a long way in representation in the American government, there remains much to be done.
