Tri-Color: Isabelle Mosbarger ’20

Using different cameras, from medium format, to digital, to 35mm film, I explored the tri-color process. What I found most interesting was how change in placement or expression affected the process; I wanted to experiment with how I could track my subject’s emotional state from relaxed to tense within a few frames. We decided to use fruits as props in order to direct some form of frustration at the small, innocent objects. I found that the concept implied a lack of logic, and as such paired well with the tri-color process.
