During the making of this project, all I could think about was the COVID-19 pandemic. Everywhere I looked, people were wearing masks. In addition to my own photographs, I used a combination of found imagery from both newspaper and online news sources. My intention was to comment on the absurdity of it all: the ubiquity of masks, social distancing, and government restrictions on travel and recreation.
