Here is a collection of digitally altered images where I insert myself in my family, before my birth.
Using images found in my mother’s childhood home, I scanned them using a flatbed scanner and Blue and Green gels in order to create the tricolor process. Then I insterted myself by taking selfportraits with the red gel over the lens of my camera.
Using the tricolor process I was able to insert myself while remaining distant and staying out of the actual images.
