Art 303, “Advanced Photography: Alternative Processes,” was a course offered at Hamilton College in Spring 2020. It was taught by Associate Professor of Art, Robert Knight.

The course presented a range of alternative process photographic techniques, including pinhole cameras, cyanotypes, tri-color separations, and gel emulsion image transfers. The processes were explored using a variety of analog and digital techniques. During the second half of the semester, each student developed their own project, providing an opportunity for a deeper personal investigation using the techniques learned in the course.
