Pinhole: Isabelle Mosbarger ’20

During this project, I got to know a circular, tin pinhole camera. I wanted to explore movement as I placed my subject, Taomi Kenny, in front of the lens. She placed her palms on a thick, vertical sheet of glass and repositioned them on the surface about halfway through the exposure. This created a sense of the subject being trapped within the space somehow. The ground lights I used created reflections on the glass, creating a stage-like sense where bright lights surround her.
