From the Renaissance to modern times, developments in technologies have thoroughly disturbed our assumptions about the real and the artificial, about space and time. This interdisciplinary course introduces students to the representation of virtual worlds in literature, and how these ‘dreamscapes’ have transformed our understanding and experience of the “real.”
