London? Photography? Why?

I am Zeyan Tang from the class of 2021, oftentimes known as Jerry on campus. As an econ major and digital art minor, I always have a strong desire to explore the world and to substantiate what I have learned from textbooks. Currently, I am studying photojournalism and documentary photography at the University of Arts, London (aka. UAL). My blog is heavily focusing on the visuals. I believe that “one picture is worth a thousand words”, which is especially compelling in this digital age when human’s average attention span is only 8 seconds. I hope that my audience will have an immersive reading/viewing experience scrolling through these photographs. In a sense, you are exploring and feeling London along with me. As Elliott Erwitt once said, “You can find pictures anywhere. It’s simply a matter of noticing things and organizing them. You just have to care about what’s around you and have a concern with humanity and the human comedy.” Now, let’s board the photography ship to see London!
